Cristiano Ronaldo and Binance join forces to launch a new NFT collection

Soccer superstar Cristiano Ronaldo has partnered with Binance to launch a new NFT collection. This marks the fourth collaboration between the Al-Nassr player and the well-known global exchange. Fans will have the chance to own tokens featuring iconic moments from Ronaldo’s career. The collection, titled “Forever Worldwide: The Road to Saudi Arabia”, will be available exclusively on the Binance NFT marketplace.

Cristiano, who has already become the top scorer in the Saudi Arabian league—just as he did in England, Italy, and Spain—shared this post on X:

“Forever Worldwide: The Road to Saudi Arabia celebrates my football journey, with artwork created by artists in Portugal, Manchester, Madrid, Turin and Saudi Arabia”.

Cristiano’s new NFTs will be released in three stages. The first stage started on May 29 and runs until June 18, featuring 6,800 NFTs in the normal category: 2,800 capturing his experiences in Madeira, 2,300 from his time in Lisbon, and 1,700 from his days in Manchester. The second stage, from June 6 to 18, includes 1,200 NFTs showcasing his career at Real Madrid, 800 depicting his time in Turin, and 700 highlighting his best moments in Saudi Arabia. The final stage, from June 14 to 18, will feature 7 “Super Rare” NFTs dedicated to Cristiano’s legacy with the Portugal national team.

The normal category NFTs will be priced at $35 each. As for the “Super Rare” NFTs, their pricing is yet to be revealed, but it’s anticipated that they will be more expensive. Click here for more information.

It’s worth noting that the first stage designs were created by Portuguese artists Katt Phatt (for Madeira) and Rodrigo Doin (representing Lisbon). Additionally, Manchester-based artist John Sheehan has contributed a piece capturing Cristiano’s time with the Red Devils. For the second batch, designs were crafted by spanish artist Lisett Ledón (Madrid), illustrator Pasquale Garibaldi (Italy), and Shaker Kashgari (Saudi Arabia). The limited NFTs are signed by Portuguese artist Mr. Dheo, who contributed as a tribute to Ronaldo’s achievements with the Portugal national team.

Fans who collect the full range of NFTs will have the chance to enter a contest on June 11 to win one of the limited NFTs. Additionally, those who acquire the “Super Rare” NFTs from Portugal will get an exclusive experience with Cristiano: a trip to Riyadh, Saudi Arabia, a ticket to a soccer match, and the opportunity to celebrate a goal with the star. To seize this benefit, collectors can register for an auction opening on June 14, where the top 4 highest bidders will be chosen.
